Automation C.I.P. installation Brasserie D’Achouffe

AASYS engineered, constructed a panel and cabled the electrical instalation of a new C.I.P at Brasserie D’ Achouffe for PENCO. PENCO (Process Engineering & Construction) is a company that focuses on the technical support of companies in the food industry.

Brasserie D’ Achouffe is a belgian brewery founded in 1982 and sice 2006 managed by Brewery Duvel Moortgat.

cip_elektrokastCleaning In Place (C.I.P.) is a process technology in which a production part is automatically cleaned without being dismantled, moved or disasembled.

Based on a P&ID and equipmentlist by PENCO, AASYS engineered the electrical diagrams, build the electric panel and did the cabling on-site.

According to the technical specs of Brasserie D’Achouffe the installation is equipped with Siemens ET200 distributed rack I / O. This rack is connected via Profinet to the main PLC of Brasseried’Achouffe. The system includes some 250 I / Os, including 200 digital and 50 analog.

The pumps in the system are frequency controlled by Danfoss FC 302 frequency drives.

Further, an interfacing was realized with different chemicals ECOLAB dosseerunits and injection points, accounting for some 70 digital I / Os.

The CIP plant contains five tanks, steam group, water supply and chemiedossering. These instruments are controlled / read: Process valves, pumps, pressure measurements analog, digital and analogue flow measurements, temperature and conductiviteitsmetingen.
